This community-run market is a firm local favourite and a great place to find everything from organic produce to handmade crafts and clothes.
On the last Saturday of every month Gwydr Square in the Uplands is transformed into a hub of activity, with artists, growers and independent shops all selling their wares in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Uplands Market was started in 2013 by a group of enterprising locals and didn't take long to become one of the most popular events on the Swansea calendar. Bringing together the very best of local art, produce and culture, it is yet another addition to the lively suburb of Uplands.
If you're feeling hungry then the scents of scents of lamb burgers and pulled pork, baking breads and freshly ground coffee will surely draw you in. Treat yourself to a locally baked cake or go healthy and shop at one of the organic food stalls.
Uplands market is a great place to pick up presents too; you'll find everything from handcrafted jewellery to colourful clothes and kegs of craft beer for sale.
The Uplands district of Swansea is just a five-minute drive northwest of the city centre. The market takes place in Gwydr Square between 9am and 1pm on the last Saturday of each month.
